This article explains how to find a crash report for Pixelmator Classic.

1. Open Spotlight

To open Spotlight, click the magnifying glass icon in the upper-right corner of the menu bar, or press Command-Space from any app.

2. Find the Console

After opening Spotlight, type the word 'Console' and press the Return key.

3. Find a crash report

On the left side of the Console window, click to choose the Crash Reports category. A Pixelmator crash will start with the word 'Pixelmator'. Click to select it.

Note: If there aren't any crash reports for Pixelmator Classic, this means it did not quit unexpectedly but may have stopped responding. In that case, you may be able to find a spin report in the Spin Reports category.

4. Drag the crash report into your Downloads or Documents folder

Drag the crash report from the Console window to the Desktop. If there is more than one Pixelmator crash report, you can drag them out one by one.

5. Attach the crash report to your response

Once you have a crash report on the Desktop, attach it to your email to us at support@pixelmator.com along with any other relevant information, such as your system specs.
