Think you've found a bug? Here are a few things you can do to help us fix it as quickly as possible:

1. Share your iPad specs and Pixelmator Photo version with us. Click here to learn how.

We can use the Mac specs and Pixelmator Photo version to indicate any issues that might be related to some specific Pixelmator Photo build, iPadOS version, or the iPad's setup.

2. Send us the image you're working on.

Most of the issues can only be fixed if they can be reproduced consistently. Any files that you're having trouble with are very useful for us to poke around in and can help reproduce the reported issues quicker.

3. Tell us about your workflow.

Any specific steps that make the bug appear are always a big help. If you're not sure of the specific steps, just let us know what tools or features you're using to edit and how you typically use them. If you're able to consistently reproduce the issue, you can also make a screen recording of it. You can learn how to record your screen here and how to send us the recording here.

4. Find and share a crash report. Click here to learn how.

If Pixelmator Photo quits unexpectedly, it creates a report of this event on your iPad. Crash reports can provide us with some valuable information about what made Pixelmator Photo quit unexpectedly and give us clues as to how we can prevent that from happening in the future. The Pixelmator Team doesn't collect any data from your iPad, so if you'd like us to take a look at any crash report, file, or image, you should send it to us directly.
